Decided to check out the stuff left in my green tote from buying it back in 2012. It was edible when it arrived and when we taste-tested it back then. Opened up a few pouches outside recently given the reviews and sure enough everything tested either smelled so bad it should be considered hazardous waste or while not smelling bad tasted absolutely horrible and if fully ingested would probably cause more harm than starvation. Put it all into an empty cat litter bucket that is airtight so it wouldn't stick up my trash can. Watch out for where the management of this company has gone... if they did this once, they'll do it again to cash in on people's fears all the while wrapping themselves up in the American flag and spouting whatever prepper verbiage they think people want to read. User's recommendation: Company is long gone.
