First year great. Second year not so much.

Upon moving into Overture 62+ in Virginia Beach 2 years ago, it was an amazing fit for my husband and me. Management made u feel at home and was a very comfortable place to live with ammenities as promised. There were receptive ears at all times. In March of this year new management has taken over and the homey feelings are gone along with numerous amenities. You never see a manager walk about to check on the cleanliness of the building or interact with residents. No longer does management communicate or seem to care about the changes taking place in our home. Restricted times for residents to approach management as well as making us feel that we no longer matter is widespread throughout the community. As a result several plan to leave when leases come due. It is heartbreaking to see this beautiful facility being run in such a poor manner. Keeping tenants should be a high priority but isn't. Unless things turn around soon, our names may need to be added to those who will move out to a more suitable situation.
