Faux leather couches flaked within 1-2 yrs of purchase.

Our once beautiful, black faux leather couch and loveseat are all flaked and unbearable to look at. The furniture is otherwise, comfortable and functioning properly. It is sad that this was made so cheap and we have to add to the earths waste!! How many of these couches end up in landfills? Is there any compensation? We spent $1,000 on this set.
