Dear Sir, Sub: A classical case of harassment & extortion by MTNL by enforcing unethical unjustified charges on my Dolphin Post paid mobile connection No 986885**** from last two years 1.I hold a Dolphin post paid mobile connection against no 986885**** for almost last 14 years. 2.The said connection has only been in usage for receiving calls from my family members & friends without any chargeable call or SMS being made from it. 3.All dues against this connection were timely paid by me. 4.However, since last two years, I have been subjected to unnecessary harassment by MTNL as innumerous Value Added Services were activated on my number without any information or my confirmation which raised my mobile bill upwards every month taking it to around Rs 1400/- despite of no chargeable usage at all. 5.Every month I was shocked to observe that a different bouquet of services was charged upon me, sometimes even twice in a month for the same service. 6.I had mailed my objection on these continuous unjustified charges which kept rising against me on month on month basis but MTNL treated my problem as a lame joke and did not bother to sort it out and resolve it properly. 7.I had requested your department to kindly check & provide me details of my call History & SMS made during last two years & verify the actual chargeable services made by me against the bill raised upon me. This would have easily differentiated the legitimate & Illegitimate charges against my connection but MTNL refused to help despite many reminders. 8.On my repeated protests & reminders, MTNL waived of just Rs 348/- against my bill, stating it as a big favour without providing me any kind of explanation on why the balance amount was retained despite the entire outstanding against me being illegal & faulty . 9.Just to provide me a temporary relief on my ongoing protests MTNL disconnected all the Value Added Services since Jul20 but the same suddenly became alive again since Feb21 onwards raising my bill again upwards. 10.To add to it, at present, all my Incoming & Outgoing calls have again been disconnected by MNTL but my bills still continuous to rise without any explanation. 11.My earlier unjustified dues plus newly rising illegal costs have all added upon me giving me unnecessary horrendous time and now my phone too is disconnected. 12.My continued harassment is purely & solely MTNLs purposeful act of unlawful activity wherein all powers are being used to make me cough out my hard earned money for illegal and unjustified costs being enforced upon me. 13.This is unjustified, a crime and against TRAI Rules & regulations. It is thereby requested that with some good sense and lawful action, all illegal costs enforced upon me, may kindly be reversed. Apart of this please reinstate my connection immediately which has wrongly been disconnected to add to my harassment. I thereby seek your kind intervention on the above and look forward to your justified actions for as without any fault of mine, I am being unnecessarily troubled during these Corona times.
