Fan remote not working

We purchased a Home Decorators Collection Breezemore 56 in. LED Indoor Mediterranean Bronze Ceiling Fan with Light Kit and Remote Control. The fan remote will not work. One day it just stopped. We tried everything as my Husband is very handy and can fix anything. What are my options?
