Elk Meadows (Brian, Trinette and now Katy) is a family business that has managed our Colorado home since we purchased it 10 years ago. They do a WONDERFUL job! I interviewed them and one other property manager years ago when we bought the house, and I am so glad I chose them. We live in Illinois - quite a distance - so having a property manager who proactively takes care of both our home AND OUR TENANTS is critical. Over the years, this honest, caring, competent trio has gained our trust completely. They are extremely hard-working, responsible, responsive and engaged. We own property in another state under different management, and the difference is night and day. When a lease is up and the home is empty, Trinette keeps us informed of every showing. Brian carefully screens the prospective tenants' creditworthiness and background. We have been fortunate to have EXCELLENT tenants who have taken great care of our home. In the 10 years we have owned the home, I believe it has only been vacant for 4 months. Brian lets us know immediately when anything in the home needs to be repaired or replaced - which is of course, our decision. When the exterior of our home had to be restained, they found someone to choose the colors (big departure from the original), and it was beautiful! Such an improvement over the original that I am sure added value to our property. Our tenants have all been extremely pleased with their service and responsiveness. One tenant who arrived exhausted from out of state before their belongings did told us that Brian and Trinette came over at night with pillows and bedding for them. Another tenant who lost his job told us the Lane family bought them groceries. Only once in 10 years have we kept a tenant's security deposit - because of pet damage. Our neighbors have even commented on what a good job Elk Meadow does and how courteous they are when in the neighborhood. We would highly, highly recommend their services, and we've had a very long working relationship with them.
