Closed with Franklin American in Jan 2018, I was aware I could not use my Florida Homestead Exemption for 2018 on newly purchased property, so 2018 taxes were high. Franklin American has now base lined my 2019 Taxes projected on 2018, without consideration of 1)Portability 2) 50K in Homestead Exemption and an additional 3) 5k Exemption of Being disabled veteran. Hence them not considering the correct escrow needed, they are increasing my monthly payment by an additional $320.44. Called and provided proof of 2019 Tax Portability, 2019 Homestead Exemption Status and VA Benefit status and they still refuse to re-evaluate the needed Escrow and therefore will cause undue financial burden on borrower. Horrible Customer Service........
