I went to their UH facility in Ashland, Ohio. Just a regular doctor visit. Imagine my surprise when I get a bill for a treatment room charge $323.30. I had no treatment and I certainly would not have it done there. The office building smelled of mold and was filthy. I go to a my regular doctor and I am not expected to pay rent for their office as a separate charge. I went there because it was closer for me and since it was a regular doctor visit, just needed them to order blood work and read the results, I figured what the heck. Well the 2 office visits cost $646.60 plus $470.00 for the doctor fee. My regular copay of $20.00 should have been all I had to pay each visit. $1116.60 for 2 office visits is unbelievable. I will never use them again. I was told when I called about the first bill that most people don't look at their bills just pay them. I was told they would re-code the visit. Then I get a new bill and still owed for a treatment room charge. I HAD NO TREATMENT!!!!!!! They do not tell you their upfront charges when you go. I would have walked out had I known. In fact when I got the first bill I called and told them I would not keep the 2nd appointment and they said it was because of the coding and that they would change it to a doctors visit code. Guess what they still charge you for a treatment room charge. It just means your insurance company pays more and you get stuck with less. When you go anywhere else to get something fixed they have to give you an estimate if it is over a certain amount. Why not health care? Go to real facilities not this one.
