Don’t think I was treated fairly

from Michael Brison phone 805.630.2873 brison.md@***.com 7/21/20: called Stanley Subaru to see ifMy wife and I retired last year. We moved from California to Massachusetts in November 2019. My son-in-law, also a Massachusetts resident, said we should buy a Subaru for Massachusetts weather. So we did. We are first time Subaru owners. Leased from Subaru of Wakefield on 1/1/2020. Because of Covid, our miles driven is less than 3000 miles. In July, we drove to Maine for a week vacation on Toddy Pond in Maine. The 3rd day there, I discovered that the front left tire was flat. We put the donut on it and drove to the closest dealership, Stanley Subaru (Trenton, Maine) for them to check the tire. I realize that a flat tire is not Subaru's fault. 7/20/20: Stanley Subaru did a "walk-around" inspection and inspected the flat tire. Their notes said that there were 2 punctures, 3 inches apart and that it could not be repaired. So, I needed to buy a tire. Stanley Subaru did not have the right tire - which I believe came stock on my 2020 Outback. They said they'd order it and that I had to come back the next day. So, I drove back to the cabin in Toddy Pond. style=" 7/21/20: called Stanley Subaru to see if they got my tire. They said they did. So, I drove back (on the donut) to Trenton the 2nd time. After waiting 1/2 hour, I was told that they got the wrong tire and that I should come back "tomorrow"! I was upset that now I'd have to spend time away from my vacation for the 3rd day in a row. I told them that I didn't want to drive on the donut any further and asked for a loaner vehicle. They didn't offer one to me, but agreed to give it to me after I asked. st 7/22/20: called Stanley Subaru to see if they received my tire. They did. So, I drove for the 3rd time to Stanley Subaru. They put the new tire on (invoice 17224) and charged me $227.01. I am upset because: 1. I didn't make any changes to stock equipment. Why doesn't a Subaru dealer carry the same Subaru tires that my 2020 car has on it? 2. They ordered and/or received the wrong tire the first time. 3. I had to leave my vacation cabin 3 times because they didn't have the right tire. 4. After their error, they made no offer to make it right. No discount...they charged me for the wheel balance...I had to ask for a loaner vehicle. I have heard nothing but good things about Subaru, but my first follow-up experience with this dealer left a lot to be desired.
