First of all, my wedding is on March 23, 2019 (a little less than 100 days away). Four out of five of my bridesmaids were able to attend picking out their dresses. We drove TWO hours away from where we live. They said that two of my girls would have to order a size up because if not their dresses wouldn't be here until the week before my wedding (more alterations=more money). So then they call back a week and a half later saying that we needed to pick them up within the next week and a half (yes, pick some time out of our busy schedules to drive two hours away when they had already told us they wouldn't be in until the 28th). So I ask how much money it would be to ship all of them to my house. The lady says they have free shipping for the month of December (why no one said that before, I have no clue). So I have them shipped to my house via UPS. Come home about two days later and have the package ripped to shreds on my stairs. Apparently, a dog or something had got to the package before I did. Now remember, were talking about three dresses that cost $130 a piece. One of the dresses was not touched, one has a huge hole in it, and the other has a snag down it about 6 inches. I called DB and they said they would get back to me before the weekend. The other dress that came separately I had shipped to my mothers work and it came in with *** in the bag and the hanger was broke in half. Now its Monday afternoon and I just got a call back saying their was absolutely nothing they could do about it. NOTHING! So now I am having to fork out more money to order two brand new dresses from them. I understand that it might not be all of DB fault, but still the fact that I am having to pay over $260 for new dresses is ridiculous. They said they were "sorry", but that isn't going to pay for the dresses. Did I mention that me and my future hubby are paying for the wedding on our own?! How about they package their dresses neatly and perhaps in a box of some sort?
