Defective leather in couch

My leather, out of the blue, upon touch, has a DYE issue. The latte color, is now disappearing, and I am left with whitish/beige spots. Jennifer Furniture has not gotten back to me, and when speaking with the local stores, no one is willing up to uphold, my prepaid protection plan from Upholstery Shield, which was purchased when I bought the sofa in 2002. This Upholstery Shield is for a lifetime warranty of the leather on my couch.
