Arlington location: Management and staff should continually stress and enforce rules about slamming the machine and free weights. Watched a guy using free weights slam his loaded bar on the floor several times today with other members nearby. One time after slamming the weights they rolled into another member nearby. Nothing was said to him. Hear weights slamming every time I’m in this gym. Another unsafe issue is personal gym bags and gear left on the floor in between weight machines. I had the unfortunate experience of tripping over someone’s bag a couple of weeks ago. There’s plenty of lockers for everyone to use for their gear. The gym floor is not the place for their personal stuff. I’ve often see members put their gear on one machine to use later, yet work out with another machine. These incidents are occurring daily and this facility is becoming unsafe. Management needs to take control and enforce some rules For the safety of all even if it causes a few members to leave. It beats a lawsuit in the event of a serious incident due to management’s lack of action.
