Custom order flooring

In July we have purchased a 600 sq.ft of special order flooring, which I picked up in Younkers Store(NY) I have received a call that my flooring is in the store, however when I went to pick it up, I was told that they cannot find it. that was after about 2 hours of waiting. I asked them to find it first and then call me back. after about a week I did get a call and they said that the flooring order was located visually and is ready to be pocked up. WHen I went back, I had to wait another hour, because they could not find it again, until I really got upset at watching the person . supposedly looking for the flooring but in reality talking on his cell all of the time. When I finally got another person to go look for it, the flooring was found immediately, and to add insult too the injury, the person said to me that it has been there for 3 weeks. when I pulled in the dock to pick up the flooring boxes, a number of them were wet and had a visible damage, but I had no choice since the job was already scheduled. Needless to say the, a number of planks was damaged or were cut too narrow, 80% was of the short planks. It took my carpenter twice the amount of time to get the floor done. I am returning 4 or 5 boxes to the store, but besides that I believe that Home Depot owes me at least a partial refund for all of the aggravation that I have had.
