My family and I were shopping in a mall that we normally do not shop at and noticed that there was a Buca there. We quickly decided to have our dinner there. The staff was nice and we were seated promptly. Our waiter was also very nice and explained everything on the menu in great detail. I have been to Buca many times and the chicken limone is one of my favorite dishes along with the meatballs of course. We ordered the chicken to share and my children ordered a pizza and spaghetti/meatball from the kids menu. We also decided to get an appetizer of bruschetta to come out with the meal. After waiting for longer than expected, the waiter came over to us two times to tell us that the food was ready we were just waiting for the bruschetta. Thought it was odd everything was being held up for a cold appetizer. Food finally arrives. The chicken was 3 tiny pieces with some kind of white bubbles on them. The spaghetti from the kids menu was hard and plain. I had asked for sauce on the side, but this looked like it sat around for a while before making it to a plate. The meatball served with the spaghetti was unbelievable, like a harder than normal stress ball. It couldn't even be cut with a fork and I had a harder than normal time with a serrated knife! The toast served with the bruschetta was extremely thin so it crumbled when eaten. There were also parts of the toast that were submerged in the bruschetta so it was extremely soggy. The manager did come to the table right when the food arrived, but was clearly just going through the motions and asked how our food was before we even tasted it. The floors were gross and after eating what I could from the meal I looked up to see the worst air vents I've seen in a restaurant. Disgusting! This is the air blowing on food! This was the worst experience that I have ever had at a Buca. I don't know if it is just this location or how the company operates now, but I was extremely disappointed and now mad that I even paid for it.
