Continuously posting my payment incorrectly
1
My mortgage was sold to this company approximately 3 years ago. I have had to call them regularly to have them repost my payments accurately and change to the correct due date because I have always been one month ahead. I was in the mortgage business myself, so I know the interest must be recalculated each time an error has been corrected. They are not doing this! Spoke with Ray (would not give last name when asked) and was told the correction would be made within 48 hours and the history would be emailed to me. In the meantime, she would be emailing her personal extension in the event this problem occurs again. This was over an hour ago and I yet have not received any such notification. I also asked that upper management give me a call (gave my cell number). This exact same conversation has happened more times than I can count on two hands with no response of any kind from any management. And to top all of this, I was told that people do not post any payments, it is all done by computers! And...that computers cannot calculate what to do when additional monies, i.e. additional escrow is sent, so the actual portion that is the PITI is concluded to be just a principle payment only. You cant make this stuff up!! In closure, if you are doing bill payer and not scrutinizing each statement that is coming in, you most likely are having severe problems without knowing. I have asked many many times for them to sell my mortgage to another company because this company does not know what the heck they are doing. This company lacks the knowledge and responsibility of any like business I have ever been associated with. My recommendation is to find a better mortgage lender. Unfortunately, I didnt get to choose with whom my mortgage was sold. RUN.............. User's recommendation: RUN.........
