Container would not open on hairbcolor bottle

Never had this happen with hair color. The top on the coloring bottle would not come off so I could add the color developer. Even my husband could not twist it off. I had to squirt it into a bowl. Harder to mix and apply that way but managed to. Quite frustrating as I was very pressed for time. Please check these bottle tops.
