Confusion of Skyline

I have had a good experience with them which is why I am confused... I read my contract from front to back and wasn't pressured. Interesting concept but yes, you should read your contract... I was told about the contract duration of 5 years (ADT offered a 48 month for 15$ more a month) so I figured I'd just do this one since I'm a tech guy and they do use the Vivint stuff which is a lot better than ADT's giant box that took up half my closet and doesn't work half the time. The rep was nice and didn't feed me any garbage. It's funny that people ONLY believe the negative because there was a couple bad eggs in a company and somehow that makes the entire company bad? Yes, I have seen college kids out canvassing Skyline in my neighborhood which is why I think these bad experiences have come about, they are young and money hungry so they will swindle people, but it's like that with any company that does door to door sales. So maybe people should be more perceptive of their sales rep and READ the contract. Easy as that. Stop spreading negative propaganda because you can't read a contract thoroughly and somehow it's everyone's fault but your own. Overall, their service has worked well and my only complaint is the battery in the wall mount dies after 2-3 months. But so does my self installed smoke detector so I don't see that as a serious issue as long as you know to replace it quarterly. Cheers everyone!
