Would not honor factory coupons for oil change

When a new car company takes over a dealership is the new company required to honor factory discount coupons given at time of purchase? The new Hyundai dealership which took over the original place where I bought my car refused my $40.00 discount coupon sent to me by the factory when I purchased the car new. This coupon states "Valid between 48,000 and 51,000 miles." The original seller has taken care of my car with regular check ups according to my automotive maintenance plan. Previous dealership: Courtesy Hyundai Present dealership: Sterling Hyundai Both located in Lafayette Louisiana
