I hired Caliber Moving Co to have a refrigerator moved from one house to another in Georgetown. I was quoted $250 for the job. The move was scheduled for ETA between 11am-2pm, per Tony (the owner). At 2:01 I received a text from Tony Reil stating, "There is going to be a fuel fee on this of $35. If you agree we will proceed." Really?!! You are going to add a fuel charge out of the blue, AFTER the job should have already been completed? I texted back, "I guess, that would have been nice to know earlier when I was getting my quotes. And why am I just getting informed of this now? I will leave this in the review." Ten minutes later, I get a text from Tony saying, "Your obviously upset, we will not be servicing you today." WOW!! So in the end, Thank you Caliber Moving company for SUCKING at customer service and saving me $145!!! Texan Moving Company did it for half the price and had outstanding customer service! Oh, and the job was completed in the time frame they gave me. So glad I didn't end up giving Caliber Moving Company a dime of my money.
