They illegally held my girlfriend captive in China. She is still at the airport 2 days later. She cannot leave to a hotel because she doesn't have a Chinese Visa. They will not let her board the flight because her full middle name was spelled out on the ticket, yet they let her travel from SFO to Shanghai to Bangkok. On the return, they held her at Kunming Airport. She purchased a new ticket via Expedia, but they denied that ticket as well claiming that they need physical paper tickets. It is not possible for my girlfriend to print the tickets when she is stuck in Kunming. The airline demanded a booking through the airline directly at double the fee on Expedia. She had no choice but to book the flight, but it wont leave for 2 days. In total, she purchased 3 tickets...all Non-Refundable. This is a PURE SCAM Airline. Still looking to pursue legal recourse.
