WORSE EYE EXAM EXPERIENCE

I took my daughter for an annual eye evaluation on 8-20-2018 to the Thomas Eye Group. The appointment was @ 2:30 pm, we arrived @ 2:25 pm with all patient forms filled the day before. After 30 minutes waiting, Mrs. Sh called us and treated us very politely and took the time to perform her part of the eye exam and explained to us with detail the procedure and the findings. Then, we were sent to Mrs. V. And posteriorly to the ophthalmologist Dr. S. I explained to her that my daughter is very healthy, no allergies or any other diseases. The reason she was there was for eye evaluation performed by a specialist to be sure everything else is normal beside the nearsightedness or myopia. She performed the exam as fast as she could and was about to leave when I requested to know the findings. For some reason, I do not know, she took for granted that writing them on the chart was enough. The doctor should inform and explain the findings to her patients. Then @ 3:50 pm (1 hour and 20 minutes later), we were sent to the “Contact Lens Specialist” Mrs. MF for a “EYE CONTACT EVALUATION”. We waited to enter her office, she did not care and FORTY MINUTES later, she NEVER explained or apologized why it took that long TO BE ATTENDED, and what was even WORSE was the RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and UNPROFFESIONAL manner she conducted the interview. It took 5 minutes to asked 3 questions, she NEVER looked at my daughter’s or my face. She spent the whole time on the computer and sent us away with a business card with the price of the lenses and a pair of contact lenses she placed on her desk in a very DISRESPECFUL manner ASSUMING THEY WILL FIT PERFECTLY BY THEMSELVES. I was charged $ 55 dollars (she billed a PREMIUM Contact Lenses Fit????) for a Contact evaluation that in other offices was always performed in a complete and very professional manner. It is not about the money, the point is that the Thomas Eye Group pledge on his web page that “Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality care in a warm and caring manner. We hope we are always able to exceed your expectations”. That was the reason why, I decided to take my daughter to this office, but we left that place after 2 hours and 30 minutes feeling we were treated in the OPPOSITE way the Thomas Eye Group PROMISE THEIRS CUSTOMERS to be attended. This is why, I will never, ever go back to this business or recommend this place to anyone. I hope this review will make this business change their ways, and make their customers feel at home instead of feeling very disrespected.
