Wording used in a recent article in your magazine.

5

I was so looking forward to your 50 Over 50 edition of Forbes after I saw Mika Brzezinski interviewed on The Today Show. To be sure, the women highlighted in your magazine illustrate that women are (finally) coming into their own. However, I do take umbrage with the very first sentence of the article (to wit): For these dynamic women, growing older . . . Please note that, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the word old means In or belonging to the past. Perhaps the wording: growing more mature would have been more appropriate. User's recommendation: My wording is self-explanatory. Thanks.
