Won’t reimburse for work that I had to pay for upfront

We had a repair done to our heating system back in April 2020. I had to pay the company that did the repairs upfront. I called Select Home Warranty at the end of April asking why I had not received a refund. They stated that I need to send them a copy of the invoice which I emailed to them the same day. I called back in June 2020 because I still had not received a reimbursement. At that time they said that they had not started the claim. The lady stated that she did not know why it had been overlooked and it would sent over for processing immediately. On July 23, 2020 I called back because I had not received a payment. Suddenly I now need a reimburse claim form filled out that they need to email to me. It is now going to take 5-7 days to get the email and another 30 days to get a check for the reimbursement. This company lies and refuses to pay claims. I feel I should not have to wait 4 months to get a reimbursement. I cancelled their service and have told myself that I will write this up to a bad investment. I have wasted $37.50/month for the last year. The sad thing is the amount is only $112. At least it wasn’t a large amount. Do not deal with this company if you don’t want to have a lot of trouble getting your money back. User's recommendation: Buyer beware. Do not deal with this company.
