Won’t let me use my reward points

I accumulated over 7,000 points as a customer. Found out I could use them to pay my monthly bill. Called customer service to verify in January 2021. They told me they would be available March 17, 2021. I called today March 18th to use them and the customer service rep told me that they review eligibility for reward points and I got denied. Therefore, they took all of my points away and there's no way to reverse it. This was said AFTER he stated that there's no way to decide who gets to use their points and who doesn't. But clearly that was incorrect. I was a customer since 2017 before they even started their reward program and this is highly disappointing. User's recommendation: Use a different service.
