We buy Ford only but I am pissed that since 2013 we have had all 3 of the trucks we own or owned had to have the trailer wiring harness and plugs replaced by the time the trucks hit 40,000 Kms. It is not covered under warranty and it is anywhere from $70.00 to $800.00 to replace because of ‘Rock Damage’. It’s the most *** poor excuse I’ve ever heard! A truck I always thought was considered an off road vehicle. We use it on gravel roads because we live in them!! They should hold up. Never in my life have I ever had such a problem till 2013 to present! I am fed up with this problem but this time my wiring shorted out every time it *** rained!! I’d say this is an extreme fire hazard!!! Oh no though you need to have that replaced there is another 70.00, as a consumer we pay more than enough for these vehicles let alone paying extra for a small thing that isn’t under warranty. I am pissed that every time I turn around the excuse is rock damage!
