In April 2017 took my money for a renovation. ($44000.00) Never finished the job. I had to hire an attorney to get them to say that they were not going to work on my house. October 2017. They have since been arrested for defrauding over a million dollars. They still have their contractors license from the state. Beware this state does not protect you from license contractors. At this point I feel you are better off using a non licensed person. I have hired an attorney because the Jones want to put me in a personal bankruptcy even though all my checks were written to Freedom Homebuilders. The judge seemed to think that he is just a poor business man after defrauding million dollars from people, The amounts get much higher when you start considering companies. Freedom was a small company and stole from so many people. Shame on the state of Florida!
