WHO THOUGHT THIS UP?? A toothpaste tube that doesn’t actually close?!?!

1

I just threw out three perfectly good tubes of Crest toothpaste after putting up for weeks with the first one with this type of lid. I am talking about the kind you flip up, not screw on. Clearly someone thought they might bring harmony to marriages throughout the land if the top of the toothpaste never had to be replaced because it did not detach. But the toothpaste leaks up and out, clogging the lid so it does not seal, or even close entirely and soon, wherever you leave this tube it oozes out a mess to provide constant cleaning opportunities. And of course you cannot put a mess making item like that in a drawer, so it has to live its life on the counter, slowly and continually belching it's contents. What a monumentally *** concept - a toothpaste tube that does not seal. Obviously no one actually tests these new ideas before they hit the market. I will be buying no more Crest of any kind because who knows if the evil lid lurks within. Much safer to just buy another brand.
