When I “googled” MB complaints I was shocked by the number of links.

You simply don't see the kind of complaints with reliable cars like Honda and Toyota compared to MB. My 2008 E320 has been a money pit. The Portland MB dealer lies and cheats it's customers. They charge you for services not performed. For example, I was charged for a new fuel filter. Less than 1000 miles after that "service" in Portland, the fuel system failed. I took the vehicle to an independent foreign auto repair shop and was told the factory installed bolts were still in place. I was reminded that MB "repair" shops are dishonorable. It is not unusual to be treated unfairly by MB.
