Waiting for a call from them for more than a week!

Don’t they know that time is money? I applied for a loan more than a week ago. At first the assistant seemed to be rather helpful and knowledgeable. We discussed the rates and terms. And he answered all my questions. But then he told me they would get in touch with me in 2 business days. A week passed and I called them myself. And again they told me that they would call back till the end of the day. 2 days passed. No calls. No messages. Nothing. Can’t they put their staff in shape? They invest huge sums in ads all around the city, but save on hiring enough staff? That’s ridiculous! Still, I am going to wait some time more since their rates are the lowest
