About 6 years ago I called and tried to refinance my conventional loan into a lower rate VA loan and was told I didn't qualify. I refinanced with another institution without any problem. I complained and was actually called by Admiral Lynch. He apologized and indicated that I should not have had an issue. I accepted and moved on. Jump to July 2021. Called and asked about doing a cash out refi and was told no because my house is in a trust. Amazing!! Not sure who they are actually lending money too. User's recommendation: Why Bother?!
