Very poorly made shoes, worse customer service

I bought a pair of Taryn Rose shoes online, directly from TR. After wearing them for less than two weeks, the heel fell off. I called customer service and was told to send a photo, which I did. I did not hear anything for a week. I emailed back and was told that the matter was referred to their corporate headquarters. I had to email THREE more times over the next two weeks before anyone got back to me. They refused a refund. They said I could send them back for exchange and a coupon for 25% off a future purchase. I did not want to have to package and send the shoes back but wanted to have the heel repaired locally, which their "policy" would not reimburse. I had no intention of a future purchase. It is ridiculous that a pair of shoes that costs $425 dollars would fall apart after two weeks of normal wear. Totally unimpressed with the quality and even less with the absent customer service. I will not buy their shoes again, nor should you
