Very poor customer service and no conflict resolution credibility

I moved from staten Island in Dec 2017. Called customer service to advise moving date. I was advised to let the buyer call and change account to his name rather than stop service ( to avoid damage due to freezing). on closing day buyer told my lawyer service change has been called in. National grid billed me for few weeks beyond closing date. I was asked to submit sale records, for investigation and national grid would respond to my application. after many calls I was told it is under review. Later calls resulted in information there were no records. operators were giving standard answer , if I did not order shut down, I must pay. It appears with National grid there employees only know bad behaviour/rude and uncivilized reaction. Management is non existence because request for supervisor were responded there is no supervisor. This company should be shut down because here is lack of consistent reaction/management,, and customer service. Without communication with me account was send for collection. The buyer of property was gracious,he asked me to send collection notice to him and paid it,he said that he had contacted this company and they would not do any thing to correct records and bill him. This National grid deserves shutdown for good.
