Turo doesn't protect its guests. I rented the car because it has four wheel drive. But when I picked up the car, the owner wasn't there and his wife gave me the keys. He was not able to answer my questions. I decided I could write to the owner when I started the trip. I had only gone 2 miles to the toilet when the owner informed me that his car did not have four wheel drive. He apologized and I think he made a mistake. He told me he couldn't give me a full refund because Turo only gives you 40-50% of the full price. I contacted Turo support and was told no and then hung up. I was told that I could return the car early, but that I would have to pay a fine. I will never use their service again.
