US UGG produce fake boots
1
I would like to report a scandalous fraud: 1. UGG.com claim to produce Classical UGG Mini Boots. However, except for the brand name UGG, their product is an impersonation of prestigious Australian producing companies. For example: https://uggexpress.com/; https://www.australianuggboots.com.au/en/; uggsince1974.com.au. 2.US UGG quality control is non-existent. The weight is considerably lighter than the original UGG boots. They save on the leather. An original Classic Mini Boot size 13 weigh 545 grams (per shoe). Theirs is only 421 grams. The 133 grams difference can be translated to better bottom lines on Excel spreadsheets, but who cares if the boots are now do not provide warmth? 3.Their customer service representatives admitted the product underwent major changes, yet they stick to the brand name, intentionally misleading customers. Full disclosure is a must if you wanted to maintain any market reputation. Apparently, impersonation is a lot easier. 4.Major brands make numerous changes in their products over the years, but they change the name of the product to inform customers. You decided to maintain the same name and deceive consumers. In my dictionary, this is fraud. 5.I suffer from Raynaud Syndrome and must keep my feet warm during winter to avoid slow healing sores. That is why I spent $195 ($119+$76 for shipment and customs) to purchase these boots. They are worthless for me and now I ordered the authentic boots from Australia. 6.I feel cheated and they should take responsibility and fully compensate me. 7.Someone should make them stop misleading consumers and to change the name of the model. User's recommendation: If you want an authentic UGG buy the Australia boots.
