today I picked up a prescription at my local Fry's pharmacy. I was once again solicited for a shingles shot, on top of unsolicited phone calls from the pharmacy for a shingles shot. I once again told the pharmacist that the co-pay was too high for me since my only source of income is social security. She asked if she could check to see what the current co-pay would be...I said OK. I was told it would be $47. Although that is still expensive for me, I agreed. After receiving the shot I was told I would have to repeat it within two to six months with another co-pay, I don't understand why I was not informed about the second shot especially since I keep telling them the price is too much for me.
