I financed a $4,800 purchase with Bread and a week later, my Macy's account was tampered with! Someone tried to place a fraudulent $600 order to pick up at a Macy's store in New York. Then I realized that Bread is also located in the state of New York. The distance between Bread and Macy's is about an hour away. This might be link but I'm unsure. Just be careful because I have a feeling this might be similar to Affirm where they sell your personal information to 3rd parties. You can never be too careful. Was wondering if anyone have the same experience as me? Where they had encounter fraud and sketchy activity to their personal information and accounts after signing up with Bread?
