Unsealed package

I bought a container of Edys tonight from Acme the side wows a bit dented I opened it up. Looked ok but then I thought how many people Opened it up looked at it and didnt buy. Made me think. Why isnt your icecream protected and sealed. Any quack pot can open it inject it with something god forbid dangerous !!!
