Unethical interview questions

1

I was interviewed at the Santa Ana, CA location for a Data Entry position which I had all the experience they needed and was able to work the hours they were requesting. First, the interview took place in a nice office where the interviewer brought in a 2nd lady in just to read some questions while the real interviewer watched me & my body language while I answered the questions. At first the questions were basic "what if" or "have you?" questions. My gripe is with the interviewed once she decided to participate in asking questions. She asked me if I was married and if I had children. I think asking this was wrong and unethical. I've read so many articles from experts about how it's wrong for the applicant to ask certain questions. I've also been told about how the interviewers (most of them) don't ask this type of information but this tacky lady I guess had already decided I somehow didn't fit the type of dummy that she wanted to hire. If I had wanted to I could've addressed this legally but since I'm unemployed, I have more to lose than to gain. But if anyone is considering working for ACS/Xerox, think it twice. Don't let desperation blind you from doing the right thing for yourself.
