Unbelievably Terrible Service

Update by user Jun 07, 2018 I have a voicemail from Rose calling me back, 3 pictures showing the shoddy work in the powder room (which is part of why it took Patrick 8 hours to finish it) and a voicemail from Patrick calling, already an almost an hour late, asking where our address was! I also got a very threatening phone call from the other owner, Brian, after I filed to have half of the money returned. Original review posted by user Jun 06, 2018 I did try to contact them about the problems we had. Patrick is a new employee in the local office who spent a quarter of the time talking instead of working, another quarter not even at our house (arrived 2.5 hours late the second day, packed up early and left an hour early each day to "avoid traffic." One day he had to go to Home Depot THREE times. During his Home Depot sojourns he'd pick up coffee, take his time, spend hours away from the job site. He spent EIGHT hours working on a powder room! He worked like he didn't care b/c he was no longer working for his own family company. When I disputed half of the charge for all of those reasons above, the owner called, extremely aggressive, shouting at me. I asked him to calm down so we could resolve it civilly and said I was only disputing half of the 16 hours he was supposed to have been working - not the entire charge. The man screamed at me that it had already been resolved b/c I'd spoken to Patrick's other boss Rose. I asked him - how was it resolved? Patrick never worked extra hours to make up for all the time he wasn't at our house, was on the phone, was out getting coffee, was in Home Depot, etc. The guy finally got quiet and then said, "We ALWAYS win AmEx disputes." Wow, I guess their service is so bad that this happens regularly! And this is the first time in 4 years we've ever had a dispute with any merchant! Absolutely horrible experience!
