Equifax charged me on 3 separate occasions for a $1.00 free credit report online. The first charge was for 29.95, a second charge of 19.95, and a third charge of 19.95. When I called to be credited for the payments that were automatically deducted from my account I was told that there was a 7 day grace period that I knew nothing about and that the agent on the customer service line would only credit me back one charge of 19.95 and half of the 29.95 charge of 15.00. I am furious because the terms for this were concealed on their website. I can't imagine that I am the only person that has had this experience and frustration. I should be fully reimbursed.
