Trying to change date of reservation

Due to an increase of Covid in Missouri I called to change my reservation date from September to the end of October. This is at the same location. They informed me I would have to pay a new booking fee and if I wanted to save my points I could pay extra. For crying out loud all I wanted to do was to change the date. RCI is out to make money and that is all they care about. User's recommendation: Money is their top concern..not their customers.
