Total attempted ripoff in fort lauderdale

I rented through expedia and paid what was supposed to be "rental with all taxes and fees included". When they finally picked us up after calling the rental office for nearly an hour, the lady driving the shuttle was also the only office rental agent......so nobody else there to answer the phone. Once back to the office, they tried to force insurance coverage (which is illegal to do so) or we couldn't rent the car. when I explained that forcing someone to take insurance as a condition of a contract is illegal, they finally let me email them my declaration and insurance ID card. Since I had already paid in full on expedia, the only charge I had to pay was for the florida toll tag/sun pass and that was $95 with tax for the 5 day rental. They also placed an additional $200 hold on my card which was supposed to fall off within 48 business hours. It has been 6 days at this point and still no refund for deposit. Please never rent from this company. Every single person inside the rental office was fighting about this same forced insurance coverage. Total scam artists from my experience. Nearly every person ended up paying twice as much as they were originally quoted......Run fast and far away from this company!!!!!
