Toilet not working

Toilet does not flush . Let front desk know toilet was not working, his response was he might be able to get someone out next day. Toilet just keeps backing up on every flush. So I asked what do we do if we need to use toilet... no response.Front desk had knowledge of plumbing issues when I mentioned toilet backing up.
