Original review updated by user Jul 30, 2021 The 1st & only time I used Venmo to receive a payment from a friend was a few months ago. The money left her account, went into my Venmo account, but when I tried to redeem it, Venmo froze my acct. I can't redeem it, nor can I return it to my sender. So Venmo is holding my money hostage. When I get live help they tell me they'll send me an email which either doesn't address my issue or its a survey. User's recommendation: DO NOT USE VENMO.
