I AM REALLY MAD ABOUT THE THROWING FOOD AWAY!!! I was going in and buying the food in the buggy when I came into the store. Now, there is no buggy. I was told that it is now throw in the dumpster. I can not see it being thrown away in the dumpster and then to the land fill. Do you know how long it takes for a can to break down? Many years. You are supposed to be helping the earth, pollution comes from land fills. So, you want to clean up the environment? Why not donate it to charity and get a tax credit? I will come and get the stuff and donate it for you. I am on SS. and I know people who are suffering right now. Can't afford to buy groceries. It is hard for us that need the extra help. Please let me know when I can go and pick up any food you want to donate. Many stores I shop in have a clearance end cap. I try to find the best prices for me to buy it. I used to be a merchandiser and worked retail most of my life. I know that Best Buy is not expiration date. That is so the stores need to order more. Milk is good 4 days longer, and peanut butter is good a few years after the BB date. It still hasn't expired and being tossed.
