This was a bad experience and we were made to feel like criminals

On April 7, about 7pm My boyfriend and I were eating dinner at Broadwalk Restaurant & Grille. We drove to Hollywood from FTL just for a philly cheese steak sandwich. My boyfriend and I ate their about a week ago, and he felt the phily was like back home philly chicken sandwich. As he ate he came across what he thought was a mushroom he took it out and discovered it was a rock that resemble a marble table top! He called the manager over to show it to him, he first said the rock isn't wet! Well my bf had been examining it and tapping it on the table to make sure it was really a rock. The manager responded by stating he had to watch survelience videos later that night to determine where rock came from but that in the past it was the customer who put objects in the food. I was very angry when he implied we did that! He then left and said the owner will review tape. The waitress came back and said he would take $4.00 off my bf $8.00 sandwich. I was truly insulted so I ask for the manager/owner and told him how insulted I felt and that he could have offered to replace sandwich and at least show some concern! I paid my share of the meal but refused to pay for the rock filled sandwich. I asked the second manager for the owners name and was given Danielle. Later I found out the manager was the owner. I have never been treated so poorly his customer care was 0! And when I said I would never come back or recommend he did not even try to console me. This was a bad experience and we were made to feel like criminals! Broadwalk management has alot to learn about customer service and be more concerned about the liability that incident could have caused. There were kids eating there as well. He didn't take any measures to look at tape to determine if any other food was tainted with rocks!!!very poor service on such a beautiful boardwalk. Choose another restaurant!
