I have had a life proof case for my iPhone 6SFor a little over a year and a half. They have been great about sending new cases when the old ones get damaged. But every time I got a new case I asked about guaranteeing the phone for damage in case it gets wet and I was always told that they cover the phone if there’s any damage due to failure of the case.Which is a lie. I have been on numerous vacations where I had had the phone in the pool with me the entire week. I have never had an issue and only took the phone into the pools with me not to leave him on secured on a beach chair and with the reassurance that they would cover the phone if something happened. But on this vacation I put the new case that they sent me on the phone just to be safe and put the scratched and damaged case to the side. As soon as I got to the resort I went in the pool double check the phone and there was water inside the lower half of the case. What made me more upset is that before I left for vacation I want to test the case for 12 hours is weighed down in a pot of water. The case had no water leaks. So I went the next 8 days with the phone in a bag of rice to no avail. Upon returning home I called life proof and I was told that they did not call before the damage. Talk about being pissed off. So don’t believe life proof and all of their *** the case has held up great for drops and lights bills but do not trust it for waterproof. The phone was only submerged in about 2 feet of water for about 10 Minutes at best And it failed!
