They won’t let me cancel my service

I had a ring doorbell that quit working so replaced. I recently got an message telling that my account would renew and I would be charged for the new subscription. I tried to log into the app on my phone. Because it is a new phone it wants to send a code to my old phone, which I don't have, to let me log in. I called customer service and they told me I needed to be home and press my ring doorbell, which as I mentioned quit working and I don't even have. They refuse to allow me to cancel my subscription without the doorbell. Avoid this *** company!!!!! User's recommendation: avoid them.
