They refused to take my deposit!

They are located right across the street from my office, so I visit them every day. Sure, all the staff know me, they always greet me with a smile and do not even ask me about my ID when I just need to make a deposit (although according to their rules they should). But when I came in today, there was a new teller and she asked me about my ID. I had it with me, but it turned out that it expired two days ago on my birthday. And I forgot about that. She refused to take my deposit. I did not ask about a withdrawal or a loan, just a usual deposit, but she refused. In fact she could clearly see my identity, but decided to strictly follow the rules. Suppose they could have made an exception for me as a loyal customer. Still their manager approached me after that and tried to change the situation for the better. She couldn’t change the rules for me, but at least apologized. I appreciated that.

This bank will always find a reason to rob you by withdrawing unclear additional payments. I changed it a year ago for another and am happy as my dog.
