They put a lien on my house and put me in deeper debt!
1
I had a 2006 Equinox and after the 3yr warranty was up the engine went out. They said it'd cost $5,000 to get a new one not including the labor. They said to get a new vehicle I would need a co-signer and my mom didn't want to co-sign. So they said they'd need me to do a lien on my house. They said they had to pick my vehicle and the color. So they chose the smallest vehicle on their lot a 2017 Spark and the color red so my insurance would go up. I'm not understanding if I only owed $4,600 on my Equinox then why would they put me in a situation that I can't afford?? They had me put $3,000 down upfront for the Spark, they said my mom still had to sign for the house part since her name was on it (which that was a lie it was still co-signing), they somehow made the car that's worth no more than $11,000 made it $17,000, and after all the interest rate they tact on it and GPS the total sale price is $32,923.40. The total of payments is $29,249.40. Why put me in a 11yrs difference of a vehicle than what I had, why put my house in jeopardy, why put me in even more debt than I already was in??? They took advantage of the situation and I already used 2 free towes through my insurance at the time and u were limited 3. I didn't know what else to do. Now I'm stuck with a vehicle I never wanted in the 1st place, put my house in jeopardy, and all this money I owe that I never should've had to owe! This isn't the 1st time they screwed me over. The 1st time I had a 2004 Saturn Vue, and they sold it to me with a bad transmission. Luckily I had a 3yr warranty on it, and they could fix it. The first 2-3 months it was in the shop though. I had it towed twice there because the 1st time they didn't fix it like they said they did. So I rode around in a few loaner cars of theirs during it. You'd think they'd want their customers happy, but instead they only look out for themselves! User's recommendation: Make sure you have the 3yr warranty and get rid of it before it's up!
